Only You
What is it that I feel,
When you look towards me?
It's something you can steal.
My heart, that's what it could be?
When I look into your eyes
And see a brown reflection,
I know the answer lies,
Within my affection.
I know what it could be,
That draws me near to you.
It's your shining smile I see,
That makes me fall in love too.
At night, my heart sits alone,
Crying it's only tears.
Yearning for just you,
To only be here.
To hold me close to you,
And never let me go.
What should I do,
With not knowing how you perceive?
Promise me too,
That you will never leave.
For there is a place for you in my heart.
No matter where you go,
It will never part.
This emotion inside is real.
This is what I feel.
It's the little things you do,
That draw me close to you.
What I'm trying to express,
Is something words cannot say.
I put it in a poem,
For you to read one day.
