Over the past ten years I have been striving towards creating the ideal perfect Panda bear, as seen through my eyes.
As a Panda bear collector and WWF fund raiser for the real pandas, I strive for that special look in each bear that I create. Each tends to have a different look and is one of a kind creating 40 to 50 pandas a year, due to each creation being fully hand-sewn.
My own fascination for exoctic fabrics has led to many hours spent searching Melbourne' s suburbs and Melbourne' s Chinatown district for exotic silks, fabrics, threads and oriental accessories to complement my creations.
Many of the bears' paw pads feature custom hand-made Australian wool felts with decorative fibres of Tussah silk, Angora, Mohair and Alpaca.
Some of finer features include hand-made Silk saddles adorned with hand-made fine rope, and Silk Chinise theme jackets
I hope that my great love of creating Orsetti Bears Pandas and the many hours spent hand sewing each bear, reflects upon the finished look.
By the way, Orsetti Bears stands for "Teddy Bears" in Italian.
