TO WALK WITH YOU

TO WALK WITH YOU

To walk with you down wooded lanes;
The autumn would be best.
The many colored leaves would fall;
each belonging to the rest.
Their beauty would be caught by us
And held deep to our chest.
We know that love is right, not wrong,
And life is just a test.

To walk with you along the beach;
Your loving hand in mine.
The water lapping at our feet;
The sparkle of sunshine.
The years have past and matter not
That time is so defined;
Just knowing you were there with me
Would make me feel so fine.

To walk with you and you alone
Is what I want to do.
Is that too much to ask of life
To share moments with you?
