I call you
my Daddy even though you are gone,
I think of you
daily as I try to find a song.
You left me in
life as though you were not through,
To do the
things that I longed for, from you.
You were
busy so much, I know I ate well,
You always
provided and with that I do tell.
I grew up in
my childhood, I seemed so alone,
The few
moments we had and then I was grown.
There was
much in my life that now I have learned,
I am sure as
you look, your heart has now turned.
I see you
looking down from the sky,
Wishing you'd
been here to enjoy while alive.
Deep in my
heart I find your spirit there,
Your wishes
for me have all been spared.
So Daddy,
don't worry for I've made it anyway,
You will
always be in me, and there you will stay.
