Interesting Fact:
Aigues-Mortes, a port on the Mediterranean Sea, was a launching point for a Crusade in the Middle Ages. Now landlocked, it has a perfectly preserved rectangular medieval wall around the entire town, and is known worldwide for the production of sea salt.
