Introduction To Prince Edward:

Born in 1964, Prince Edward is the youngest of Queen Elizabeth's and Prince Philip's children. Like his older brother Prince Andrew, Edward was educated at Gordonstoun in Scotland. Edward excelled in academics and, for a brief time, was employed as a school teacher in New Zealand.

Prince Edward, besides academic study, enjoys windsurfing, horse back rides, the thearter (of which is his career lies in), and taking care of his pet labrador. The Prince also enjoys sailing.

In many ways Prince Edward has been able to lead a less regimented life that his elder brothers. His unconventional decision to work in the theatrical world was a brave step to take. However, like the rest of the family he is also dedicated to his royal duties and is a keen promoter of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme. Among his other duties are youth clubs and public speaches.

Prince Edward is unmarried and has no children.
