HRH Princess Diana:

Introduction To Diana, the Princess of Wales:

She loved all the world's people, form the highest to the humblest, and they all loved her back. And when Princess Diana's twinkling blue-gray eyes closed for eternity at the shokingly young age of 36, the world's eye's poured out an ocean of tears.

This site is dedicated to the memory of Di - a remarkable woman whose captivating blend of beauty, elegance and sweetness may never again be seen on the face of the Earth.

Diana, The Life of A Legend:
Diana packed a lifetime of living into only a few short years. Born July 1, 1961, Diana grew into a quiet and gentle girl who loved little animals and the big outdoors.

Her best friend was a white guinea pig named Peanuts.

Di doted on her father, the Earl of Spencer, and her mother, Frances. And the worst sound she ever heard in her childhood was the sound of her mom's footsteps as Frances walked out of the family's home forever - lured away by the love of another man.

Frances' abrupt desertion left Diana shattered and insecure. She courageously overcame those emotions, only to see them return years later when she again was abandoned - this time by the man she adored: Prince Charles.

Diana fell in love with the prince when she was a skinny, gawky young teen. Her schoolgirl crush was so intense that she turned her bedroom into a shrine to Charles, hanging a huge poster of him over her bed.

Little did she dream that someday Charles would actually be sharing her bed - as her husband - and her destiny would be fame and glory.

When the two married on July 29, 1981, Diana was ecstatic over finding herself living a real-life fairy tale. The whole world (750 million people) watched in absolute wonder at this new beauty. It became to be known as the wedding of the century.

As Diana's joy was overflowing, for she had married the man of her dreams, in 1982 and 1984 her joy increased with the birth of her two children, Prince William and Prince Henry.

The next few years after the birth of Henry were a heady time for Diana as millions embraced the pretty Princess. Her elegance, grace and stunning beauty captivated young and old men and women and children. Wherever She appeared, her dazzling smile warmed hearts and won new friends. The public, her public, truly held this young princess in a special place in their hearts.

But her dream world crumbled when she discovered Charles was secretly seeing one of his old flames, Camilla Parker-Bowles, a married women. Diana - the world's sweetheart - knew she was no longer welcome in her own husband's arms.

Displaying amazing inner strength, she brushed away her tears and hid her torment - continuing her role as a devoted mom to her two little sons and shouldering a gigantic burden of charity work even as she struggled with the twin demons of heartbreak and depression.

"I want to be the Queen of people's hearts," said Diana.

Her genuine concern for the world's ungortunates made her far more than that - it made her a saint, a living angel, in the eyes of millions. Diana showed the world that her beauty wasn't just skin deep.

Just before her untimely death, it is believed that Diana found happiness again, but it came to late. On August 31, 1997, at 12:35 in the morning, the Mercedes carrying Diana and Dodi Fayed entered a tunnel under the Place de l'Alma in Paris, France. The driver lost control and struck a cement pylon. Dodi died instantly, Diana lingered for a few more hours before dying in the hospital.

News of the fun-loving Princess' death sent shock waves of grief and disbelief around the globe. Numbed by the loss, thousands of mourners placed a carpet of flowers and farewell notes at the gates of her home, Kensington Palace.

One tear-drenched note summed up the feelings of millions about Princess Diana, saying:

"The brightest stars always go out too soon. Be free, Little Angel, and fly."

We'll all miss you dear Diana!
