Within his bending sickle's compass come
As we wander through the streets of life, one occasionally hits some potholes. I just hit a big one, and I'm sitting right in the middle of it, contemplating how to get out and where to go from here. This is my time of reflection, and this website is the epicenter. Questions, comments, suggestions, etc. would be appreciated. You can reach me at bjlandry_00@yahoo.com.
For those of you who are not aware, I lost someone very close to me a few months ago, and the pain still lingers like a knife in the heart. I'm getting better, but I still require some inspiration to get me through the day and to help me discover where it is I'm supposed to be.
I've got plenty of new quotes to add in here. Note to self: check out book reviews. I'm sure I've got good ones of those. Hmm...
This is a new segment of quotes that are humorous, inspirational, or just plain cool.

I don't know about you, Miss Kitty, but oooohhhhhh I feel yum-yum!
-Charleston's favorite saying
I have decided to create this new selection to highlight a poem that I have found and rather enjoyed. This poem will then go into my index of other writers' works which you can find to your left. Enjoy!
Your enchantment
enchains me, stretched
out there, planked
like a steak or
a shad in season.
And there, where
you flower there.
You're cool to my
touch, soon growing
warm, smooth but not
sleek. I love you -
too much? Not quite
possible. The thought
of harm from you is
far from me as those
Vermont hills, en-
flamed, in October,
as I by you, in their
seasonal rush. To
go up in leaves! I
wish I could, as I
sink down beside you.
