Love, Lust, and Trust

1.
I'm so mad at you, how could you do this to me?
You tell me one thing and then you do another.
Don't criticize me for what you perceive as my faults
When the faults are real in you and my love do smother.
I love you dearly and wish to speak about this,
But it has to be on equal terms and none other.

2.
Speak without speaking.
Think without thinking.
It all must be done,
The problems must be solved.
You love me too much.
You push me away with your love.

3.
"Love me, want me, be with me," you say,
"No pressure, do what you want, be who you are.
Just as long as you love me for another day."
Trust in my love, trust in me, I say,
Let me be free, and I will not fly away.
No guilt, no accusations, no conditions.
Let me love you as I see fit.

4.
Distance separates us, time is against us,
Yet we can overcome all of that if you'll trust.
I'm not going to leave you, not now, not ever,
But believing in my love is a definite must.
Find strength in me and in the truth,
And together we'll quench your needy lust.

5.
Speak to me.
Think about us.
It must be done.
The problems must be solved.
Only together are we complete.
Only together are we us.
