Alpha Sigma Lambda is based at Cal Poly Pomona. We are the first and only Asian-American Fraternity on campus. Our organization represents a broad and proud group of of individuals. Alpha Sigma Lambda Fraternity was established on Oct 15, 1993 for the purpose of promoting leadership and instilling leadership values within and outside the Asian community. The seven young men who founded the fraternity believe that each individual is unique in his own way, and as unified brothers could accomplish anything. They embraced cultural diversity to strengthen their purpose and resolve. To make each individual proud of his background and ethnicity. And to use this pride and strength to make each individual a leader in every aspect of life. The final result will be leaders that would benefit, help society, and unite people of all races whether Asian or non-asian. Alpha Sigma Lambda Fraternity requires each brother to have the aspects of a strong leader, that would adhere to our motto of "To live by Honor, to have Loyalty, and to gain Respect". The organization fosters brotherhood as well as cultural diversity. Moreover, the brotherhood emphasizes that each brother strive for excellence and use his strengths for the betterment of society. The Brotherhood is always looking for individuals who want to make a difference in their lives and who want to make a difference in the world. For those who are willing to accept a challenge, we the Brothers of Alpha Sigma Lambda, extend our brotherhood to those that believe they can be better than who they are today.
