We travelled to kamloops!! But it was like, you know, a cowboy movie!!!! Lots of rednecks! On the way we saw the rocky mountains and they are amazing!!!!! So gorgeous, including all the woodland scenary, with snow, lakes, mountains, and trees.... very cool!!!!!!!!!!!!
As well, we saw the famous Mt. Robson and it is great!!! and we stoped at a Terry fox memorial. Do you who this guy is? Well, Terry Fox was a canadian athlete who developed Cancer. He ran all the way across Canada to raise money for this desease. Then we arrived in Jasper, a small town. At night we made too much noise but it was great and I enjoyed it so much!!! We went nuts: laughing and screaming and jumping!!!! We were real nutbars!!
The next morning On may 21st we went to visit some lakes like "Lake Beauvert" wow!!!! The water is like a dream, so clear and blue with green, it was great!!!
We were so exited and looked around the park and found a place to rent a canoe!!!!! and that was a lot of fun!!!! after that we visited "maligne lake".
In the afternoon we drove to Edmonton. It took us like 4 Hours, when we finally arrived there it was hailing, wow, were the hailstones ever big!!!!! actually we thought it was snowing. The first thing we did was visit the "Macdonald Hotel", it is so elegant and nice. At night we went to paint the town red, you know dancing and drinking beer.
The next day, may 22nd we just look around the city in the morning, but after we spent the whole day at the "West Edmonton Mall" wow that is huge!!!. Actually it was the biggest mall in 1985 but right now It is the third biggest mall in the whole world, after one in Dallas. Can you imagine, movie theatres, pools, slides, dolphins, bungee jump, an ice rink, Submarines, aquarium, more than 850 stores, race track, a huge amusement park with a scary rollercoaster included, a exact replica of the Cristobal Columbus ship "The Santa Maria", a mini-golf course, etc. All of them under the same roof. It goes without saying that this place is totally amazing !!!!!
After that we blazed a trail to Calgary. we arrived there at night, and went dancing at "the Palace". It is a huge night club!!! and the music and people was really nice there.
The next day May the 23rd we looked around the city, we went downtown Calgary, and visited the city hall, and a public fountain where we were playing with water, and laughing a lot!! and then we went up to the tower centre which is like 525 feet and there you can see all the city!!!, In the next few hours we went to the zoo!!!!!!! and we saw some animals, especially the lazy and cute Koala.!!!!!!!.
Also we spent some time at the "Canada olympic Park", where the 1988 winter olympic games were. It's interesting, isn't it?
We also tried to go to the biggest Amusement park at Calgary but unfortunately one of the things I hate about Canada is: all the places close so early!!!!!! so we had to drive to Banff before we'd thought. Anyway this is a beatiful city!!! similar to a small european town, it's so cool!!!!!! we went to dance at "Aurora" night club and we spent a great night there!! I really enjoyed it!!! The next morning, may 24th we visited the "Banff's spring hotel" which is a casttle and the view around there is gorgeous!!! I love this place!!!
The next stop in our trip was Lake Louise!!! it's a beatiful lake and is still frozen!!
Right there, Katalina, Gina and I were playing with snow and we made some snow balls to throw away!!!! It was fun!!!!!!!!
After that we traveled to Kelowna!! nice town!!!! we went there, looking around the town and stayed on the beach!!! I think it is the best beach I've ever visited in Canada!!! In conclusion this voyage was really wicked. Eventhough we can't be daydreamers forever, that means we had to hit the road to Vancouver again !!!!
