Loving Witness

There is a hunger that lingers in the air
You have felt it before
You quickly cover and hide it
The lack of understanding...
the feel of shame and guilt overwhelming
You seem to endlessly voyage through the day to day rhetoric of an unwilling,
unaccepting universe.
Your inner programming fights diligently...
fighting to hold the grasp that surrounds your nature.

Yet the hunger is becoming stronger
You are still unwilling to accept it
Never thinking to explore.

A strangers hand reaches out.
As the battle rages within,
you take the hand for steadiness.
A friendly, accepting soul who understands your conflict...
has been there before.

A sharing of thoughts.
Your eyes large with revile.
Can it be so?
Is it possible I am not alone?

Your soul rages within...
Your nature grows stronger.
Guidance was needed,
Accepted.

Your mind is wheeling in thought.
Your sleep is interrupted.
Your heart beats stronger than ever felt before.

A new fire burns within.
A new desire is evident.
You accept what cannot be changed.
The fight within has silenced.

Shame is burried
Guilt is lost.
They can only be reborn,
in the wake of the one who guides your way.

Your world forever changed
A new understanding achieved
Prior experiences become clearer.
There is much work ahead,
Yet you accept it with open arms.
You are completely exposed...
Yearning to know more...
Needing to feel more.
Your Re-birth has begun.
