Odyssey of the Mind is a creative problem solving club. Students from all over the world think of and perform creative solutions to open ended prblems and compete on three levels; Regional, State, and World. These problems can include skits, vehicles that need to preform specific tasks, or a balsa wood structure that must hold weight. However, the purpose for this organization is teamwork.

I was privledged to work on OM teams for seven years and this past year I had the honor of judging at the regional level in North Carolina. The problems I worked on were:

• Super Collider; a structure problem where we had to build a balsa wood structure to hold weight, while pool balls were rolled to a board resting on top of the structure. (1991)
