Ajax this week: Bad grass in the stadium, players not being used to eachother. All excuses, all bullshit. After the match it was all said, but it was terrible to see Ajax play at home against RKC. And RKC won deserved with 1-2. Govedarica opened the score in the 44th minute for RKC and Cornelisse doubled the score to 0-2 in the 52nd minute. Only Wamberto could do something back in the 69th minute. And the stats are to be forgotten just like the game itself. Hose was in the basic 11 and that is on its own a real mystery. What is it that Wouters sees in this guy that fans don't see? But everybody seemed to have their shoes glued to the field. Gronkjaer, Knopper,Laudrup, they all seemed terribly powerless. RKC played a reasonable game and the form Ajax showed today is a real reason to worry for the next few games cause with Mallorca, FC Twente and PSV coming up, there is no glory to be obtained for the Ajax that fans saw today in the Arena. For the last time, Ajax should be ashamed for the football it played today, it was scandalous. Well paid proffesional players, a financial healthy club, and the game-attitude of amateurs. It simply does not add up! Ajax next week:Fear is the only emotion that is in me, when I saw the game today and see that FC Twente in the awaymatch is next. For the first time this season I see a loss coming. Only with a big dose of luck or a major formimprovement Ajax stands a chance against FC Twente who are in a very good form and have a high winsequence. Note for Ajax: 2
Rest of the competition: And of course PSV and Feyenoord did not loose and closed the gap to the Amsterdamsquad. PSV did so in a strong game at home against Roda JC, and must be confident in view of the game against Ajax in 2 weeks. The 2-0 victory in Eindhoven also meant the 100th goal for Nilis for PSV. Feyenoord won the derby in Rotterdam from Sparta with 1-3, Cruz scoring 2 times and is now back in the subtop. Willem II played not very good but to it's luck FC Utrecht was their opponent, and as last week they threw away a 1-3 lead, Willem II won with 4-3, three goals from Bombarda. Utrecht looks terrible, and deserves to loose. FC Twente won in Maastricht from MVV, 0-2, and are also looking strong. Vitesse discovered the strong squad of AZ, and did not stand a chance at home where they lost 0-2. The table is nice right now. Ajax(35) and PSV(34) ahead, being followed by 7 teams within 3 points. Heerenveen(31),Twente(30),Feyenoord,Roda JC, Willem II, RKC(!!!)(all 29) and Vitesse and AZ with 28. The subtop is huge this time! Note for the competition: 7
Moment of the week: Dont wanna repeat my unhapiness about the referees every week, but it funny to see that in the week that the referees man the barricades for a permanent contract with the Football Association they again hide their good judgement in the weekend following to that. Luinge like always, but also Koopman who need a guide-dog in the game Willem II-FC Utrecht. Maybe also the moment of the loss of Ajax against RKC is a moment of the week. Cause really this can't go on, I really hope that this should wake up the board before it is too late to recover the damage. At this moment Mallorca seems a unrealistic winchance, but to remain in the top of the table serious adjustments are needed. Wake up boss, the ship is sinking!
PS:Ullrich van Gobbel(Feyenoord)and Geoffrey Prommayon(Willem II), who can really say that they are the topquality players? It is so funny to see that those 2 clowns are still playing so many games for teams that have higher goals. Prommayon stimulated my smile a lot today.
