Ajax this week:
Because of the game Holland-Belgium the game of Ajax against Feyenoord had even more time to be all over the newspapers.For the first time since a long time Ajax-fans were a little worried. In the first half of the match those worries were not justified cause Ajax played securely and Feyernoord played a little scary. Knopper scored in the 17th minute,superbly and with tremendous speed from a free kick situation. Every week Knopper keeps showing his great importance, he is not worried by any pressure on him that Litmanen left open when he left. Knopper is gonna be a big one, without doubt. Ajax kept playing easily and the game looked promising and when the pause was there, there was no reason to think otherwise that Ajax would bring this game home. After halftime Wamberto doubled the score by simply heading in after a beautiful pass. One minute later however Bosvelt did strike back and so did Kalou like he always does,this time in the 68th minute. After the scoring of 2-2 a long slapstick-like movie played with loads exploding on the goalposts. Still the 2-2 does not mean extra damage for Ajax. The press will probably call Feyenoord "the mental winner".Feyenoord showed to be not as unvulnorable as it so gladly wants to be seen. Ajax defenses looked very shaky and weak. Especially the centre where Verlaat had to do some heavy work, were under constant fire.The midfield played superbly, fast Laudrup movements and Knoppers ingenious things were art.The 2-2 is boring yet very useful to see where Ajax stands in comparison with the other clubs in competition
Next:The game away against RKC is next on sunday September 19. This game will be another walkover for the Ajax-squad. The match against Feyenoord that the players were not too confident about turned out good, they played some good football. This show of their own capabilities will definitally bring their morals up to a higher level and maybe against RKC we can see the almost arrogant playing Ajax, and that Ajax always scores a lot.RKC is a sure win, 2 or 3 goals, and hopefully more Knoppermagic and Machlas scoring for once.

Competition this week:
The result of Ajax and Feyenoord decided on Friday, the rest of the teams could focus on that. Especially PSV who could take the lead. On sunday they were extremely lucky with the second goal that never should have been allowed and set the score in the 89th minute on 1-2.Again PSV is so lucky while it played weak,very frustrating. It would almost make you wanna cheer for Bayern Munich in the Champions league when they play PSV wednesday. Willem II entered the top of the table with a very nice played win over Heerenveen 2-4, Sanou scoring 2 times in overtime. Heerenveen is still looking very weak.FC Twente deserved the win against Vitesse but they missed the PSVluck a goalless draw was the result leaving both teams in the middle of the table. RKC, always fighting against descending to the 2nd league won again this week and must be very happy with the 5th place. The other 2 teams who were also without loss of points before this weekend both lost, AZ with 1-2 from Roda JC at home and Utrecht with 3-0 away against Sparta
But again I would like to express my disgust for the way PSV won,a look at the table does not show the best team on the no.1 spot, just the most lucky one.

Moment of the week:
First of all a negative moment. Pure injustice in the match Ajax-Feyenoord. During the game a pathetic fat businessbastard provoced the F-side with his behaviour. The fans got angry and attacked the skybox. The police had to set the bastard free. No Ajaxfans were arrested, but it is very strange that first of all Ajaxfans would be arrested, while the bastard would get a few free tickets to make up for his spoiled evening. People with money can provoce everybody so it seems. No, injustice is still bloody obvious present when it comes to soccer.
The funny moments. In the match MVV-Cambuur L they need a 2 minute pause cause a few minutes before halftime the watersprinkling installation suddenly started spontaneously. In the match Sparta-FC Utrecht, a cameraman was a direct victim of a duel on the field. The camera was just as stable as the cameraman and gave a very black close-up of the ground.
