You are the
Love lifted me and took me away,
Above the clouds, beyond the gray
I touched the moon and kissed the dawn
I cried and cried, but nothing was wrong
On the wings of a Dove, I flew free
As the gates of Heaven opened for me,
An angel took my hand, thru the Jasper we smiled
At long missed kin folk that had been there all the while
Together we traveled thru pearls to a throne of gold
Then there was "Jesus" clad in a colorful robe,
Precious little children sang, " I Saw The Light"........
Even the blind sing, Praise the Lord, they had sight
Wonderful was the deaf, for they could hear,
Even the speechless, begin to cheer!
The homeless had shelters made of shiny brass.
The wealthy had homes made of looking glass.
The frightened, no longer had to hide.
The lost and lonely finally had trust in a guide.
As we all sang, "Just As I Am Without One Plea"....
I knew which group I belonged, one that went well
for me.
A place full of Love, a World so bright....
Jesus was
my light that night.
Yes!... Love Lifted Me..
