His first feature for cinema came in 1976 with "TheScar"

"Camera Buff" (1979) won first prize at the Moscow Film Festival

"No End" (1984) was the first film Kieslowski co-scripted with lawyer Krzysztof Piesiewicz

Their next project was "Decalogue"

In 1990 he filmed "The Double Life Of Veronique"

This was followed by his acclaimed "Three Colours" trilogy

"Blue" (1993),"White" (1994), and "Red" (1994)

He died on March 13, 1996 of a heart attack
