What does a beautiful mess mean to you?

A beautiful mess, I first heard this statement watching the Ru Paul show, she used it in reference to Anna Nicole Smith. I just thought it was a lovely and poignant sentiment. This was close to 10 years ago because the Ru Paul show has been off the air for a long long time. So it was long before Anna's tragic death. She really lived that statement she was a thing of true beauty yet a terrible mess all at the same time (brains or lack there of withheld from the equation) I just loved it, A BEAUTIFUL MESS, I coined the phrase in reference to myself and I think it fits me and my life. Like a beautiful bright sunset, the kinds so beautiful it is almost to pretty to look at, the sun swung low in the sky and so bright it brings tears to your eyes but you still keep trying to look at it, despite the pain and waterworks. You continue to try and behold the wonder of it all. You hold on and you watch as the sun dies and gives birth to the moon only to rise again another day. I am a ball of ribbon and string. Each piece possessing it's own glory but together a jumble of pretty things is still just a mess.
