Winter Love
Tender feelings on a tender day
Silent snowfall takes me away
To a place of ice and snow
A place I dream and glow
Lukewarm heart would rather be
Cold inside and feel the freeze
Of icy dreams and winters cold
Of feelings hot and yearnings bold
Winters warm and winters chill
A touch of kindness and a thrill
Of seeing you within my heart
And sensing you my heart does start
There is a place and then a time
There is a feeling so sublime
It takes the breath and then the soul
It leaves a mark but takes no toll
So snow and frost will not hurt me
The white cake frosting on the tree
Will give me peace and gentle sleep
As in your heart I burrow deep
The blue moon light a peaceful hue
Will warm my body through and through
And you will share my resting place
For love like this is filled with grace
Tender love and passion wild
Will warm me and the gentle child
I see in you most every day
I love in you most every way
