Vince's Staff Academy Page
In July 1997 I attended the Marine Corps Reserve
Staff Noncommissioned Officer Career Course. The course was held at Camp
Clark in Nevada, Missouri. Staff Academy is professional military education
for staff sergeants of Marines and is designed to make them better supervisors
and small unit leaders. We studied subjects such as time management,
stress management, drill and ceremonies, counseling, rear area security,
offensive and defensive operations, land navigation, and physical readiness
training.
This is my platoon at Staff Academy. I am in the
front row at the far right.
This is a photo of me outside the barracks with SSgt
Ossi, another Marine from my unit.
This is my platoon's faculty advisor, Gunnery Sergeant
Smith, shaking hands with me after graduation.
