The MiG-27 'Flogger D' is a tactical strike devolpment of the MiG-23 'Flogger' it has a longer nose that accomadates a laser rangefinder and desgnator. The MiG-27 can carry either convential loads or full tactical nuclear weapons. In the CAS (Close Air Support) and BAI (Batlefield Air Interdiction) the MiG-27 carries cluster bombs and Anti-Armour missiles, usual battle loads include two AA-11 'Archer' AAM's, for self defense. Desgned to fly "nap of the earth" the MiG-27 has terrain following radar. The MiG-27 'Flogger D' can also be used in the maritime strike role. Carrying ASuW missiles.
