The Mikoyan MiG-29 'Fulcrum' is a short to medium range air-superiority fighter roughly comparable to the American F/A-18 'Hornet' or the F-16 'Fighting Falcon'. The MiG-29 was designed to work along side the larger Suhkoi Su-27 'Flanker'. The MiG-29 carries short to medium range AAM's. 'Fulcrum' is designed as a dog fighter and is fast and maneuverable. A navalised variant exists as the MiG-29k 'Flucrum D' this variant was designed to operate off the Russian aircraft carrier the Admiral Krusnetsov.
