Pretend We're Dead (CD Box Singles-UK) (CD-5, Slash London, UK, 1992)
This is a tricky one to describe. It is called a Limited Edition CD Digipak and is comprised of a CD single box set which is a three fold box and holds two CD singles. It was released initially as the box containing one of the singles and an empty space for the second single. On the single that came with the box is "Pretend We're Dead" and live versions of "Shove" and "Shitlist" from the Finsbury Park show. The front and back of the box is the same as the artwork for the 7" single re-release (picture from the video and color pic. of the band on the back) with the addition of the words to "Pretend" and an illustration that appeared on the album on two of the inside flaps. A week after the box was released, the CD single that would occupy the space in the box was released. It also contained "Pretend We're Dead" with the addition of the live versions of "Fast and Frightening", "(Right On) Thru" and "Diet Pill."
