Chuck Condit
This photo of David Garvey (left) and Chuck Condit (standing with no shirt) was taken
on Hill 65 on the edge of one of the 81mm mortar gun pits. Both were company radio
operators. Here they are testing out a new radio transmitter and receiver set that is being
worn and operated by Chuck Condit. The transmitter is in his hand while the receiver is
hooked on his belt with a cable going to a single earphone.
