Sankyo's 1/12 (ca 1980)King Tiger II-------------------------------
Per Sonnervik's 1/8 King Tiger IIThe first photo is a view loading one of his original Panther model A 1:10 models ( sadly long out of production); driving off with the loaded Panther and lastly a close up of the Tieflader- transport trailer (lowboy), without the hardwood decking mounted. The Kaeble is available ( 6 month + delivery) and the Tieflader is in the works.... I have somewhere additional photos of the Kaeble in German Army colors. Quite a model!

Jerry.... (here)I send you some scans of my 1/8th scale Russian KV-1 that I built a couple of years ago. It is not a rc model but perhaps you might want to put it on your web-site..... Kind regards...... Steve Tegner (South Africa)

Steve Tegner's Amazing KV1 cThe Three Musketeers
After quite a while my original third Elephant has returned. I rebuilt this one more than 20 years ago give or take a year and is rightmost in the pix. It was originally fairly sad with pieces missing and broken. The return voyage to me was not smooth either so some features will need further repair although just a few and nothing serious. As I've said many times in the Forum I've always liked these oddball models and didn't push to get it back because they're valuable. I just like them. And before any of you ask; and please honor this: no I will not sell one! I am more than happy to answer any question you may have regarding the specifics of this model; especially if you are building or rebuilding one. I only wish someone would resurrect this darn kit as a production item so those who want one or a dozen could satisfy their 'thirst'. As a modelling chum recently put it this particular model has become the Holy Grail to some. Truthfully while it is a very unique model it isn't all that great to run and there are shortcomings to the kit.
The model which I got back is in decent shape; the most distressing things in need of repair are the front fender flaps and the travel lock. It is curious to me to see where my head was at when I repaired and painted this one: I must admit the head -on shot looks terrible but from the profile it is pretty good but then I've never been a good painter and back then I had really, REALLY bad spray equipment. So please enjoy seeing these three together again; they've not been in a photo together in better than twenty years. ( Please excuse the darkness in the image and the spatters on my deck walk; the photo was taken late in the afternoon and the spatters are from running a gas powered tank after the recent battle day: fortunately the castor oil/synthetic goes away after a week or so and is easily washed off!) 10/02/2002

Due to recent posts and email I feel it is time to reiterate our stand on the following:
o Why don't you make them shoot?
The reasons for this are many: Dangerous in the extreme and foolish are the first 2 that come to mind! To control basically a firearm via radio control is just stupid and dangerous if not illegal!
NO! This site will never support operating main guns on any model. Infrared combat or simulation systems are fine as well as air driven 'talcum powder' cannons which generate a puff of 'smoke' are ok. No device for a model tank main gun or ancillary weapon which by gas, black/smokeless powder, magneto, compressed air or by any other means projects or propels a fixed shot or shots whether controlled via radio or manually operated will be supported or encouraged but rather vigorously discouraged. If you haven't already done so please sign the AGW Guest book referenced at the bottom of the main page.
