Marco Sacareno was our 6th Foreign Exchange Student. Marco is from Northern Italy in a city called Zoppolla, Italy. All we know about Marco is that he loves to Mountain Climb or Repelling. Marco so far has played American Football and is about to start American Basketball. Marco is a very nice guy and very popular in school. His grades are great and have to say that were very happy with the way everything is going with Marco. Were growing to Love Marco very much as time passes by. Marco has gone out for the Football Team and now playing Basketball. As of now we do not regret this year with Marco what so ever. Michelle and I are very happy with Marco. Not once has he done anything to discouraged us in any way. Marco knows allot about PC's and taught me a great deal of things. Second grading period Marco's grades are exceptionally good. His English has improved so much that he can pass for American. Well almost !
Here it is March already and Marco is still doing really good. He is traveling to Toronto, Canada to see some of his family that lives there. As for Marco's grade. Very good and he made the Merit Roll at school. This summer he is traveling to meet our next exchange student in Zopolla, Italy to talk with Federico.
What Marco has accomplished so far this year? Well his grades went up and at the end he had a 3.8 grade point average. So that is something of a good thing there don't you think? Marco with a friend named named Tony went to Cedar Point Amusement Park and he was very impressed with that. As far as we know Marco was the only exchange student that was elected Home Coming Court which he was in Second Place. AND the only exchange student ever that was nominated Prom King at his school. Well it turned out that he was invited by 5 girls to the Prom Dance and instead of disappointing any of them Marco went with all 5 girls. He said it was ALL RIGHT though. But we think he enjoyed himself really whether he will admit it or not. But he surely knows no doubt about that.
Marco has never let my wife or I down in any way shape or form. Seeing him leave Ohio is going to be extremely difficult to see. Love Marco so very much no doubt about that. I think what we miss about Marco is all the fun we have had here. Michelle misses him cause he excepted her and people for the way they are and not what they look like. Me, well I miss the times we had just talking between two people. And there was a lot of that too. Just talk and talk and more talking. But you know what too guys? Think Marco misses that too. He is missed not just by us but by a lot of the kids here. He has made such a impression on everyone. We've never met Marco's Parents Luigi and Claudia and a younger brother named Francesco but hopefully we will have that chance next summer. Marco does have a girlfriend named Carmen and very happy with her. Wish him the best that life can ever offer. As of now Marco attends a University in Trieste, Italy and is majoring in International Business. And is doing very well for himself. We still talk to each other as much as we can and we still after all these years Love each other. Marco as of now is still attending college but now he has started is own business. It is called Jumar Mountain Stuff, and is doing very well for himself.
Well Marco is very ill now and recently I just made a trip over to Italy to see Marco. He is doing very well and that is fantastic. Marco looks good despite what is going on with him. While I was there Marco's mom Claudia took us to Venice guys that city is so beautiful and was sure glad I saw it. But the best part was not what I've seen as a tourist, the best part is seeing Marco. And you know what it did us both good it really did. You see I know what Marco is going through since I've been through the same thing myself. Met Marco's girlfriend Carmen and some of Marco's friends and his Dad Luigi and his family as well. Overall was so good seeing Marco and after all the years that has passed by not seeing each other the feelings we have for each other are still there. The love has never ever changed over the years and that guys is what it is all about.
Well it has Marco paid us a visit for the last two weeks and it was awesome seeing this young man again. He hasn't changed all that much not at all. Well guess you can say he has gotten somewhat older now. But the last two weeks has been fantastic talked about old times and helped with my pc. We did a lot of good things together. We made a trip to Washington D.C. and get this two days before we were leaving I found out that there is going to be Anti War Rally. They thought it was funny but I didn't. But everything worked out for the best or good which ever. But the feelings we have for this guy is still there and know for a fact he feels the same toward us. Thanks for everything my friend. Guys have to say this as well. The last few months wasn't the best for me health wise but Marco was here for me or for us. And I thank him so much and now that is a true friend it really is.
