TOUR LENGTH: 36 months

DUTY TITLE: Directing Staff for Professional Military Education (PME)

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

Manage up to 24 candidates attending JLC with responsibility for all disciplinary and administrative areas of training within the Flight; manages instructors with responsibility for their welfare, development, administrative and disciplinary areas; verify quality of instruction through monitoring and assessing instructor performance; provide lesson instruction at any given time; provide input to curriculum development for weekly critiques, lesson plans and examinations; carry out PDR/PER (PFW/EPR) assessments on all staff.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

ESSENTIAL:
a. Experience as a PME Instructor.
b. CCAF Associate Degree.
c. Meet the requirements of SPECAT number 106, NCO Professional Military Education (PME) Instructor.

DESIRABLE:
a. Strong writing and public speaking skills.
b. Good understanding of USAF doctrine.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret.
