The Top 10 Commanding Officers of WW II

Disagree with my choices?Tell me why!

No army can win a battle or war without an excellent commanding officer. These are the commanders that have earned their place in history as military geniuses during World War Two. Commanders could have either excelled in tactics or strategy to appear on this list. Two exceptions, however, are Winston Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt. I felt that these two men were so important in the war that they too could be ranked in with the military commanders.

(10.)Churchill & Roosevelt- Every good nation needs a good leader.
(9.)Yamamoto- Hatched the attack on Pearl Harbor.
(8.)Ewald von Kleist- Many successful campaigns as a commander.
(7.)Albert Kesselring- Commander of Germans in Italy during the bloody Italian campaign.
(6.)George S. Patton- The American Guderian.
(5.)Dwight Eisenhower- Strong strategist.
(4.)Geogriy Zhukov- Did he ever lose a battle during WW2?--(?Mars?)
(3.)Heinz Guderian- The original "blitzkreig" master.
(2.)Erwin Rommel- The "Desert Fox". Overcame numerical inferioty many times. Skilled tactician.
(1.)Erich von Manstein- Came up with the attack on France. Strategic genius.
