In the Beginning
Possibly the only complete draft notice on the net, it dispells at least one widely-held belief. (It doesn't say "Greetings! You've been drafted.") The discolored area at upper center is the remains of the glue from the Scotch tape used to attach the 15-cent subway token, for a one-way trip to the induction center. The very old "39 Whitehall Street" building was bombed by war protestors in 1970. Rather than rebuild, it was demolished.
MacDill Open House, 1969 Static displays from 1969. Includes B-58, F-102, A-26, "A-51" ( both recip and turbo ), and the then-brand new F-4E.
Korat Air Base, 1970/71 Some select personal photos from the VN war. Includes what may be the only combat load images (two examples) of the AGM-12C Bullpup on the net, as well as an "alert" F-105G Wild Weasel carrying the huge AGM-78C Standard ARM and AGM-45 Shrikes.
