Red you have a wonderful site. Hope you had fun at the reunion in branson. History I drove 21 from 5/69-10/69 Then when the sheridans came i was driver on 27 for 90 days or so from jan.70 on i drove 23 and was there with red on april 1st 70.
As always we remember the fallen and you have done great service to that thanks. I would like to honnor Richard Lampson and Ross cleveland who I believe saved the total anilation of the troop on april 1st.

Great Site. But my purpose in visiting your unit again is a sad one. For those of you who remember my brother Pete Povey, he has passed away on September 1, 2000 of a massive heart attack. I remember D Troop rolling into the BMB and Having some of you
uys over to the MP bar (since we couldn't drink at the main bar!) a few times. Pete was with the unit in 1969 before being medivac'd out while loading for a visiting Colonel. That Colonel's chopper saved his life then and the investigation I filed on the
man got me kicked out of the 199th to Okinawa. Memories, upon memories....
All of you were great guys with a strong brotherhood.
If anyone remembers Pete please email me.
