Hi and welcome to my home page mainly dedicated to the Second US Infantry, the reenactment group I belong to. It will also contain other things as well.
I am a Corporal in the Unit, C Company of the 2nd US.
About the Company
- The company participates in about 12 events a year(about one a month)
- The company contains around 20 members and is constantly searching for more. For information on joining contact me at HinsonE@rocketmail.com.
- You must be 16 to carry a rifle in the company. As is the rules at many events. Younger boys are welcome as functional musicians and there parents are welcomed as well.
- We try to portray as realistically as possible the soldiers life of the Civil War period--Sleeping in tents, cooking over a fire, spending all day outside rain or shine. We of course make allowances for modern aminites such as medication, keeping foods refridgerated...stuff they didnt have to worry about that we do.
