The below charts reflect the household
goods shipping weight allowance. Allowances are based on DOD regulations
and are strictly enforced by the TMO.
NOTE: Organizations participating
in the Unit Deployment Program (UDP) are not authorized household good
shipments to and from Okinawa. Be aware that if a member purchases
an item that is too large to mail via the U.S. Post Office, they may not
be able to get it off Okinawa easily.

NOTE: When shipping your
household goods to Okinawa you are restricted to the figures above; however,
when leaving Okinawa you can request a weight waiver to ship to your next
duty station, an amount equal to your full weight allowance. i.e.,
if your a GySgt and you can ship to Okinawa, only 3125 pounds of household
goods, upon leaving Okinawa, you can request a weight waiver through TMO
for up to 12500 pounds.

TMO at the departing duty station for the latest information.
