3. As per General Order 1-13 issued by our National Commander in Chief Donald E. Darby, "Camps and Departments should ensure that Memorial Day activities are carried out in accordance with the wishes of the Grand Army of the Republic. Let us be sure that their actions and sacrifices are ‘kept ever green in our memory.’" Therefore I highly recommend that each Camp conduct an appropriate Memorial Day ceremony.
4. All Camps should review and revise their Camp web pages and update them with current and accurate information where appropriate.
5. As per Department By-Laws Article X, Newsletter, a Department Newsletter is to be published quarterly. The next date for article submission is by July 1, reported to the Department Senior-Vice Commander Dave Duggan. Therefore each Camp is tasked to appoint an individual to report to Brother Duggan (may I suggest each Camp Senior-Vice) material from the Camp for inclusion in the next quarterly publication of our newsletter, and to submit the information by the July 1 date. A reporting of each Camp’s Memorial Day ceremonies would be most appropriate.
6. All Camp and Department reporting will use the current appropriate forms as found on the National website, suvcw.org
