Law Enforcement Exploring is a division of the Boy Scouts of America for
both male and female aged from 14 years old to 20 who are interested
in a career in Law Enforcement.
Monthly meetings/ training sessions are held every Thursday night at the
Goldsboro Police Department from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
Explorers recieve specialized training in all aspects of Law Enforcement,
including arrest procedures, traffic stops, crime scene investigations,
firearms training, emergency prepardness, building searches, fingerprinting,
first aid, report writing, and radio training.
Explorers participate on communtiy events and Police Department functions,
including ride-alongs with officers from the Department.
