Corey Graduation

In my other life, I'm an Auto Technician and was employed by Darling Ford in Bangor before I came to my current position. A *GREAT* company to work for and a wonderful working family. They were really great to me, and I hated to leave, but I felt I couldn't pass up this chance for a full time military position.

Toolbox I'm also a car freak, and I currently have in storage a 1964 Volkswagon dunebuggy. It's in pieces, but I'm making plans to restore it and drive it as a hobby. It started out with my uncle, Wesley Tidd, was bought by my mom, and then purchased from her by me, so it's sort of a special family thing. My other "baby" is my every-day car, an acqua Chevrolet Cavalier Z-24.

I love putting model cars together and am currently working on a model of Dale Earnhardt's #3 Winston Cup car. Any other model car buffs out there, feel free to e-mail me.

My big love/hobby is automobile racing. Mostly Winston Cup as I am an AVID Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan, although I do love having our own racing team - LCR Racing. We're not racing this season. Mom's job transfer put the kabashes to racing this season, but we hope to get back at it soon. Our number is 17, and my Dad drives the car while I head up the pitcrew. When we get back to racing, I'll be driving the car some, too, and I can't wait for that.

I'm currently a newleywed, 22 years old, 6'2", slim, clean-cut, good-looking with light brown hair, full of laughter, and love to have fun!

HEY! On September 14, 1997, I went to Loudon, New Hampshire, for MY FIRST, YES, COUNT THEM, MY VERY FIRST NASCAR WINSTON CUP RACE thanx to the great Darlings Ford Family! It was unbelievable and much more awesome that I'd even imagined. I had to keep pinching myself to see if I was really there seeing the cars and the drivers in person. We had GREAT seats right across from the pits! The cars are beautiful and the roar of the engines after "Gentlemen, start your engines!" gives you goosebumps! As Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor says, "Arrr, arrr, arrr"!!! Me and my Dad DEFINITELY can't wait for next years' trip. When we get our scanner, I'll put some pictures on for ya!

That's my news for now. Looking forward to hearing from car buffs, fellow Guardsmen, fellow racers, and fellow Earnhardt and DJ fans!
