The Ultimate Race FanWhen the ultimate race fan died, he woke up at a speedway in the clouds. It was the most beautiful track he had ever seen. The long straights and sweeping turns were paved in silver and gold, and the grandstands shimmered in the sunlight. He heard the engines roaring as he looked to see Davey Allison in the Havoline 28 and Alan Kulwicki in his Hooters #7 racing side by side. Then Tim Richmond swept past in the Old Milwaukee 27. Tiny Lund and Glen "Fireball" Roberts were having one heck of a battle through turns three and four. "Wow! This must be Heaven", the fan thought to himself. Just then, he saw a black and silver #3 flash by, and he watched as the car went deeper into turn one than anybody else. "Oh, no!", exclaimed the fan. "When did THIS happen?!" "Don't worry", Saint Peter assured him. "Dale isn't here yet . . . that's just God. He just likes to think He's Dale Earnhardt."
