An ideal for the devil to attack people is to break up the kith and kin relations. The womb rights stand at the
height of any society. With it families ties are created and societies are managed. It is a form of mercy from Allah for humans to live with each other. It is part of what was ordained to Prophet Adam (E) and all the humans.
Quran 2:27 Those who break Allah's Covenant after ratifying it, and sever what Allah has ordered to be joined (kith and kin relation), and do mischief on earth, it is they who are the losers.
Quran 47:22 Would you then, if you were given the authority, do mischief in the land, and sever your ties of kinship? 23. Such are they whom Allah has cursed, so that He has made them deaf and blinded their sight.
So it is seen that severing the ties of womb and its rights are highly condemned by Allah. But who are Allah addressing in these ayahs? Allah is addressing the pagans of
Makkah in the time of Prophet Muhammad (S) who fought their own kith and kin. If a person would become a believer, the disbelievers use to sever the ties of wombs. They use to harass, torture, and even kill the believers.
In the early days of Islam, Allah only rebuked the disbelievers saying how loose they are and unmerciful towards the womb's rights, while Allah told
Muslims to be good towards their relatives. Later when Muslims were kicked out of their homes and city, Allah told the believers that whoever disbelieves, you cannot take them as awliya (friend, helper, supporter, ally). Allah made it clear that when the disbelievers have power over you, they will not care for the womb rights and persecute the believers. They will try their best to lead the believers astray. Thus Allah's test for the disbelievers was over and allowed the believers to break the kith and kin relations between believers and disbelievers.
Quran 9:9 They have purchased with the verses of Allah a little gain, and they hindered men from His Way; evil indeed is that which they used to do. 10. With regard to a believer, they respect not the ties, either of kinship or of covenant! It is they who are the transgressors.
So Allah made it clear that there is nothing between a believers and a disbeliever. Not even the womb. And not only that, the disbelievers also fight with you about your creator, the maker of the wombs and break their
covenant with Allah.
Quran 9:13. Will you not fight a people who have violated their oaths and intended to expel the Messenger (by breaking the womb rights), while they did attack you first? Do you fear them? Allah has more right that you should fear Him, if you are believers. 14. Fight against them so that Allah will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing people.
So here Allah makes it clear that not only you destroy those people who oppose Quran and Sunnah, but also, even if you are in womb relation with them, you fight them. Allah only considers the believers as the only ones who guarantee the womb rights and
strengthen it only through Islam.
Quran 9:11. But if they repent, perform As-Salat and give Zakat, then they are your brethren in religion. (In this way) We explain the Ayat in detail for a people who know.
The ayah that sums things up.
Quran 58:22. You (O Muhammad SAW) will not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, making friendship with those who oppose Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW ), even though they were their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred.
So anyone who opposes Quran and Sunnah will be the fuel of hellfire and has destroyed his womb rights with the believers.
Quran 11:42. So it (the ship) sailed with them amidst the waves like mountains, and Noah called out to his son, who had separated himself apart, "O my son! Embark with us and be not with the disbelievers."
43. The son replied: "I will betake myself to a mountain, it will save me from the water." Noah said: "This day there is no saviour from the Decree of Allah except him on whom He has mercy." And a wave came in between them, so he (the son) was among the drowned.
44. And it was said: "O earth! Swallow up your water, and O sky! Withhold (your rain)." And the water was made to subside and the Decree (of Allah) was fulfilled. And it (the ship) rested on Mount Judi, and it was said: "Away with the people who are
transgressors!"
45. And Noah called upon his Lord and said, "O my Lord! Verily, my son is of my family! And certainly, Your Promise is true, and You are the Most Just of the judges."
46. He said: "O Noah! Surely, he is not of your family; verily, his work is unrighteous, so ask not of Me that of which you have no knowledge! I admonish you, lest you be one of the
ignorant."
47. (Noah) said: "O my Lord! I seek refuge with You from asking You that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have Mercy on me, I would indeed be one of the losers."
