This picture of LSM-58 and LSM-226 was taken by John Cloud's father who was stationed at Midway in the 50's. Both ships also served in the Korean war, and received honors. They were both sent to France, then returned here, and then were transferred to the South Vietnamese Navy. LSM-226 was scuttled off Da Nang to prevent capture, and LSM-58 was returned to the states, and sold to a man in Florida. Mr.Cloud has many more pictures.
