REFERENCES

The following is a list of references I have used in gathering the information used. I have gained most of my information from past Loadmasters I have met while working on this project. They have been kind enough to answer questions and provide their own stories. Special thanks to Bill Garnder and Bill Collins. These gentlemen have been crewmembers on the C-124, Mr. Gardner even flew on the very first one, the YC-124! Many thanks goes out to them not only for their help with this page, but for what they have done as Aircraft Loadmasters towards the advancement of airlift. Best of luck to Bill Collins who is at the draft stage of a very interesting book about airlifters.
