The Alabama Ranger Company (Bama Rangers) is a student organization at the University of Alabama. Our mission is to emulate the U.S. Army Rangers in order to teach students and cadets leadership skills as well as mental and physical toughness. These are invaluable skills that will assist leaders in both the military and the private sector. Our SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) are derived from FM 7-8. While the Bama Rangers are not real Army Rangers, we hold them up with the utmost of respect and admiration.
