Deputy Iden serves as the Sheriff's Department Transport Officer. Deputy Iden
spends many hours on the road, going to different prisons and juvenile centers picking
up and dropping off inmates and juvenile offenders. He also provides security for our
local courts. Deputy Iden also serves civil papers and when not busy with all of that he
assists the road officers by taking calls for service and "backing up" officers.
He also has handled investigations for the detective bureau as well as taken evidence
to the various labs.
Deputy Iden is a very hard working and friendly person, who gets along with every
one at the department, as well as the inmates he transports.
Background
Deputy Iden is retired from the Wabash Fire Department, where he served as firefighter and
an investigator. He has recieved specialized training in Emergency Response Team.
