Mariann joined the Sheriff's Department in 1984, as a dispatcher. She is now assigned
to the day shift (7AM to 3PM). She is married to Todd who is quite the computer
genius. He works on computers, sets up networks and has taught courses on computers.
Mariann is learning our new computer system, and is quite good herselve. She and Todd have
two children, Matthew and Mitchell. The family attends the Bachelor Creek Church
of Christ. When asked about a hobby, she lists raising her two sons. We that know her
know that she is a good mother and is very proud of her young sons. When her oldest
son began kindergarten this year, she was surprised to learn, that the school was
surprised that the young boy could already read. As much time as she spends with
her children, it came as no surprise to us that she had taken the time and effort
to give her child a "head start".
