Detective E. Steve Hicks
Detective Hicks has been with the Sheriff's Department since January 1, 1998. Before being hired with the department he was a police officer with the Wabash Police Department for three years. He was assigned to the Detective Bureau on August 17, 1998.
Steve has attended numerous schools and training in criminal investigations, including fingerprinting, crime scenes and interviewing. Steve's duties are taking care of the property room, evidence handling, crime scenes processing, case management and others.
Steve is married to Liz, who works at Wabash's Wal-Mart. Steve and Liz are big fans of a little show known as "SOUTH PARK".
