The Lone Star Scale Raiders is a group of mischevious older teenagers. Their mission is to recreate the famous (and infamous) battles of the world. Raider dioramas have been see at GI Joe conventions and are frequently featured in the Sandbox news group. To participate in the LSSR gatherings, all you have to do is show up. All are invited. The date, time, place and theme for each meeting is announced on the newsgroup well before it takes place. Frequent participants are notified by e-mail. Some of the past battles fought in 1/6th scale have been: Normandy, San Mere Eglise, Stalingrad, Guadacanal (Henderson Field) and many more.
