THE ROLES OF THE ARMY NATIONAL GUARD

1. Our Federal role is to support the United States Military Obejectives thorugh participation in Americas Army.
2. Our State role is to support the Govenor by providing trained units and equipment,capable of protecting life and property, and preserving peace, order, and public safety.
3. Our Community role is to be an active participant in domestic concerns through local, state, and national programs.

THE HISTORY OF THE ARMY NATIONAL GUARD

The National Guard is the oldest military organization in the United States- 139 years older than the U.S Army, and had its origin when the militia of Massachusetts Bay Colony was organized on December 13, 1636.

There is only one constant in life.... Things are going to change !
