The Lawless One

The people of the West lived in fear of this increasingly powerful Evil Empire and wanted it to go away. With one dangerous confrontation after another and a seeming historical trend toward global mass destruction, the Capitalist West grew weary of making a stand against the Communist East. The people very much wanted to make believe a devastating global war would never occur.

Then, as if by magic, in 1985 a seemingly great leader named Mikhail Gorbachev came to power in Russia and offered the West what it wanted to believe. This leader introduced radical reforms geared to transform Communist Russia into a Capitalist Democracy. The Soviet Empire was dismantled and the Communist Party voted itself out of existence while Russia no longer sought war but rather sought peace with the West. Needless to say, the West was delighted.

Up until the 1980's, it was rather clear how any sort of dissension in Soviet society, and especially in the Communist Party, was repressed by political and sometimes violent means. Given the long-run anti-Western, anti-Capitalist, anti-democratic and pro- military stance of the Soviet leadership, how well would someone fair in the political establishment if they were pushing for the Westernization of Soviet society by introducing pro-Capitalist, pro- democratic reforms? How well would such a person fair if they were calling for major arms reductions and making peace with the West? If such a person were simply a common Russian citizen, they would likely have been placed in an insane asylum for "political retraining". If they were in the Communist Party, it would be bewildering how they ever got into the Party in the first place and, regardless of how they got there, the person would probably be taken out and shot.

How, then, did Mikhail Gorbachev end up Soviet Premier by the mid- 1980's?

Gorbachev's ascension in the Communist Party was meteoric. First off, he became a leading figure in the Komsomols, or the Young Communists. Then he became a top leader in Russia's collectivized agriculture sector. By the time Gorbachev ascended to the Soviet Politburo under Brezhnev, he was only 50 whereas the average age of a member was over 70. Finally, in 1985, the Communist Party leadership made him Soviet Premier.

Given the pro-Western policies Mikhail Gorbachev implemented once he was put in power, policies diametrically opposed to Soviet pursuits during the prior seventy years, one should be rather suspicious of the final Soviet Premier's truthfulness. In reality, had Gorbachev been interested in Westernizing the Soviet Union, doing away with Communism, disarming the Soviet military and making peace with the West, there is no way he could have ever come to power in Moscow. Therefore, Gorbachev's rise to power and the policies he implemented that led to the end of Russian Communism and the breakup of the Soviet Union must have been a lie, a fantastic Russian fairy tale the West all too recklessly wanted to believe.

The reason for Gorbachev's lies, and the reason such a liar would have been brought to power in Moscow, should be clear from my other articles. By Westernizing Russian society, Moscow has been able to demonstrate to the Russian people, through orchestrating political and economic chaos, what the Communists believe are the shortcomings and hazards of capitalism and democracy. Furthermore, by breaking-up the Soviet Union, dismantling the Soviet military and pursuing nuclear disarmament and world peace, Moscow has instilled a false sense of security in the West that is opening the way for Russia to succesfully launch a surprise third world war against the West. All in all, through Mikhail Gorbachev's lies, the way is opened for a global war of mass destruction after which Russia can enslave the world seemingly to counter the seeming global chaos and insanity caused by Western society. Of course, the leader of the New World Order that will be established after the radioactive dust settles will be the person who deceptively brought about the global chaos and insanity in the first place: Mikhail Gorbachev.

In October, his State of the World Forum will reconvene in San Francisco with a special focus on developing a set of core principles upon which a new global government can be established. The central mission of the conference, bringing together political, business and religious leaders from around the world, will be to create a "Charter of Human Responsibilities" -- a document that could, in essence, serve as a kind of constitution for one-world rule.

Participants in the forum will also strategize on ways to limit development and restrict private property rights as well as to develop "global security" mechanisms for the 21st century. (Daniel &:24; Matthew 24:11; Revelation 13:11, 17:9)

Barbara Marx Hubbard, a New Age socialist and keynote speaker at Mikhail Gorbachev's State of the World forum in San Francisco, is calling for "substantial reductions in the population." Just how they should be achieved remain ominously mysterious.

Society, she said at the forum, "cannot afford ... from an environmental standpoint, or from the standpoint of tearing apart of the social fabric -- the economic growth that would be necessary to promote jobs for all in the conventional sense, and the inequalities which have come to accompany that growth."

In her book, "The Book of Co-Creation," Hubbard writes "out of the full spectrum of human personality, one- fourth is elected to transcend. ... One -fourth is destructive (and) they are destructive seeds. In the past they were permitted to die a 'natural death.' ... Now, as we approach the quantum shift from the creature-human to the co-creative human -- the human who is an inheritor of God-like powers -- the destructive one-fourth must be eliminated from the social body. ... Fortunately, you are not responsible for this act. We are. We are in charge of God's selection process for Planet Earth. He selects, we destroy. We are riders of the pale horse, Death." (Revelation 6:8)
