Ragdoll
This is a large muscular cat with a long silky coat that will require regular grooming. They are gentle, quiet, loving cat with the unique habit of going limp when you pick them up, like a ragboll.

Russian Blue
The colours in this photo may be way off but you can tell by the smile that this is indeed a Russian Blue. The soft luxurious double coat that distinguishes this cat from all others should be blue tipped with silver. They are said to be somewhat shy and may take awhile to decide if they like you or not so be patient. It will be worthit.

Scottish Fold
This is a truly unique looking cat with it's forward folded ears. A medium sized cat, they may be long or shorthaired and requires minimal care. They are calm and gentle and adapt to any environment but tend to favor just one member of the family.

Siamese
This is probably the most popular shorthaired cat. In fact many people call any pointed cat a Siamese. But in fact the Siamese must have a long,lean body and wedge shaped head. All Siamese are colour points but not all colour points are Siamese. They are a very old breed that have a very affectionate outgoing personality and can be trained to walk on a leash.. They have a distinctive voice and love to talk.

Singapura
This is probably the smallest breed of cat. They have a very short silky ticked coat and are very outgoing and affectionate toward people and other cats.

Sphynx
This breed is not actually hairless but has a very short fuzz making them feel like warm suede. But this doesn't mean there is no grooming required. Just the opposite! They require frequent baths to remove the excess oil they produce from their skin. These are wonderful cats and one of my favorites. They are affectionate, intelligent, playful and fun loving. They are also a good choice for people who have allergies to cat hair.

Turkish Angora
This is a very old natural breed from Turkey. Although they are often pure white they are also found in a wide range of colours and patterns. The fine silky coat has no undercoat and required only moderate grooming. They are light framed and slender and tend to prefere only one loving owner.

Turkish Van
Not to be confussed with the Angora, the Van is from a different part of Turkey. Van usuall referes to the colour patteren of colour only on the tail and spots on the head. The coat is said to be cashmere-like and has no undercoat and is water resistant and requires little grooming. They are large, strong athletic cats that love to swim and play in water.
