WHAT WERE YOUR
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
AT PRAB:
I was part of the AGE shop maintenance and repair section.
Just as the name implies, we were continually working on
Light Carts, Air Compressors, and Power Units, which were
an essential part of flightline activities. Like countless
GIs before us we bitched and griped about the job but I
believe we all had a sense that our job was important and
appreciated by the line mechanics and aircrew members.
YOUR BEST MEMORIES
OF PRAB:
Where do ya start??: Going to the RED HORSE compound after
work to drink beer and eat burgers, hanging out at the SP's
"Pit" to B/S 'n kill time, the outdoor movie, Airmens club,
NCO club, watching "Woodstock" and "Mash" at the indoor theater
....probably a hundred more if I had space to list them all.
YOUR FAVORITE PHOTO TAKEN
IN COUNTRY AND WHY:
This one photo I can't find of our shop Dog sitting
in the back of a Dispatch tractor. Great mascot dog
half german shepard guard dog half who-knows-what.
