Claire and I had been best friends since I entered Heathlands School in '87. Claire was my first best friend when I first moved to England. Claire came to America with me twice for New England Deaf Camp in New Hampshire in 1989 and 1990. Claire really loved here and would like to come back here again. When I left school, things was pretty bad for both of us, we stopped writing each other letters for next 2 years, then started talking again and became close more. Claire went to Derby College to become a hairdresser and is currently living with her boyfriend Matt in Derby. I flew to England in March, 1998 to see Claire and my new goddaughter who was born on November 29, 1996 and her name is Jessica!. Jessica is almost 3 years old and a very smart ass girl! Claire has been really great to me, kept in touch with me. The first 2 picture above was taken in Gloucester, MA. I hope she will success in the future with her new family and life. Gina

Gina and I met each other at EYF- Explore Your Future in summer of '95 at NTID. We were roommates at that time. Gina is from San Carlos, California. She went to California School for the Deaf in Fremont. Since '95, we have been writing letters to each other every month and haven't seen each other 'til '97. We became really close friends and we'd send each other anything; pictures, clothes, and small items. We finally saw each other again for the Brickfestival '97 weekend! We had a great time with each other. She went to a community college for less than 2 years in San Francisco and is currently attending NTID this year as undecided major. We'd always either write, email, or call each other to catch up news, or when one of us needed to talk about each other's problems or help. Gina, you have been a wonderful friend and have been there for me! I really love you very much!! I hope to see you to be successful and good luck whatever you're looking for in the future.

Jessica

Jessica is my favorite goddaughter and a best friend! She is a daughter of my best friend Claire from Derby, England. I met her for the first time last March, 1998. She is very pretty, smart and good girl I ever met in my life! She knows who I am, and know what my signing name is! She knows that I live in America! When I was in England with Jessica and Claire, I learned everything for the first time, bathe her, dress her, put her in her diapers before bed, feed her, and know how to talk to her! It was tough at the first but I got along with her very well! Jessica is currently trying to sign the "I Love You" sign right now so she can say it to her parents and me. Jessica, you have been nothing but a wonderful and a great goddaughter I could have asked for! I will always take care of you no matter what, and just remember that I will always love you very much with all of my heart! Be Good! Friends Forever!
