Aviation Ground School (AGS)
This course covers such topics as navigation, meteorology, Federal Aviation Regulations,
instruments, radio facilities, procedures, and theory of flight. At the conclusion of the
course, the student will be qualified to take the FAA Private Pilot written examination.

FAA Ground Instructor Ratings (GIR)
This course covers fundamentals of instruction, aerodynamics, performance, engine systems,
ATC, weather, FAR's and navigation.
PREREQUISITES:
1. STUDENT MUST BE 16 YEARS OF AGE
2. HAS SUCCESSFULLY PASSED THE FAA PRIVATE PILOT EXAM
Flight Training (FT)
This course consists of 10 hours of dual-pre solo instruction with a certified flight
instructor.
PREREQUISITES:
1. STUDENT MUST BE 16 YEARS OF AGE
2. HAS SUCCESSFULLY PASSED THE FAA PRIVATE PILOT EXAM
3. HAVE A 3rd CLASS FAA MEDICAL CERTIFICATE
Communication/Electronics (C/E)
This course covers general electronic theory, including amplifiers, ocillatos, circuit
analysis, antennas, and equipment operation. This course is adequate preparation for the FCC
novice and techician class examinations. Approximately 20 percent of the time will be spent
on Morse code.
